what is ventilation?
The term ventilation is the term used to explain the process of inserting strands of hair into wig and skin bases. Wig making is more time consuming and tedious.This skill takes patientes to do a quality job. Just think a wig maker takes strands of hair and incorpprate the hair into a base this is something that cannot and should not be rushed in order to have a beautiful wig this type of wig along with good quality hair will last you for a long time with proper care. Versus the stock wigs that are sold at your local BBS ( Beauty Supply Store) that will last for a week or two.
What is the diffrence between full lace wig and a front lace wig?
A full lace wig is made entirely of base lace material, it is more time consuming to make taking at least 40 to 60 plus hours to venitlate, versus a front lace wig with only the top or very front of the wig is ventilated, the rest of the wig is wefted tracks like a regular wig.

Hair Loss
A woman loosing her crown and glory can be devastating. Hair loss comes from many things heridatary, medications, hair loss due to cancer, chemotherpy. I want to share with you the diffrent medical terms of hair loss and what to look for .
However, I am not an physian by no means but I want to educate and make you aware this subject has always puzzled me on why hair loss among women are constantly growing. Hair loss does not care of your age it can affect the young just as well as the old. I'm constantly reading on this subject and it is sad to say with todays technology their's still not an cure for it. Yes, there are creams , sprays sclap injections ect. stating that it can bring your hair back but it is just a temporay fix. Some women suffuer from Alopecia their are many forms of Alopecia.
Alopecia Areata-patches of hair loss, usually on the scalp, but they also can be in the beard or other areas.
The cause of alopecia areata is unknown. About a fifth of people with this condition have a family history of alopecia.
Alopecia areata is thought to be an autoimmune condition. This occurs when the immune system mistakenly attacks and destroys healthy body tissue.
Alopecia areata is seen in men, women, and children. A major life event such as an illness, pregnancy, or trauma occurs before the hair loss in some, but not most.
Alopecia totalis -- complete loss of scalp hair.
Alopecia universalis -- total loss of all body hair
Symptoms-
Most of the time there are no other symptoms besides hair loss, but some people may feel a burning sensation or itching.
Alopecia areata usually begins as one to two patches of hair loss, most often on the scalp. It may also be seen in the beard, eyebrows, and arms or legs.
Roundish patches of hair loss are smooth, and may be peach-colored. Hairs that look like exclamation points are sometimes seen at the edges of a bald patch.
Loss of all scalp hair (alopecia totalis), often within 6 months after symptoms first start.
Loss of all scalp and body hair (alopecia universalis).
Traction alopecia is a form of alopecia, or gradual hair loss, caused primarily by pulling force being applied to the hair. This commonly results from the sufferer frequently wearing his/her hair in a particularly tight ponytail, pigtails, or braids.
Traction alopecia is a substantial risk in hair weaves, which can be worn either to conceal hair loss, or purely for cosmetic purposes. The former involves creating a braid around the head below the existing hairline, to which an extended-wear hairpiece, or wig, is attached. Since the hair of the braid is still growing, it requires frequent maintenance, which involves the hairpiece being removed, the natural hair braided again, and the piece snugly reattached.
The tight braiding and snug hairpiece cause tension on the hair that is already at risk for falling out. Traction Alopecia is one of the most common causes of hair loss in African American women. Although the aforementioned style is one of the culprits, hairstyles such as dreadlocks and single (extension) braids can also have the same effect.
Men and women who have suffered from Traction Alopecia have found that the hair loss occurs most at the hair line - primarily around the temples and the sides of their heads.
